Company culture: strong hierarchy in the company ( as an intern be prepared that yiu have to make tea& coffe, washing up etc) however, the atmosphere in the company is welcoming and it is easy to build up good interpersonal relationships with other employees as all are very friendly,

In which department(s) are you working? I am working in the Oman department
Brief description of your daily activities: maintaining databases, managing brochure stock, managing consumer enquiries, administrative support, assisting in preparation of events and trade – shows, writing reports, analysis of social media figures, making tea & coffee
Brief description of your company assignment: making a tour operator directory listing all the tour operators for Oman
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: it is okay but could be better as the supervisor does not always have time to explain things properly especially when help is needed regarding university assignments

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Just enjoy the many beautiful places you can find in London, the website Time Out is very helpful
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: There are many leisure possibilities in London like visiting one of London’s many markets, Oxford Street and Whiteleys Shopping Centre are perfect for shoppoholics, Soho is the perfect area to go out for dinner, St. James or Hyde – Park are perfect places to relax and hang out with friends, Camden Town is one of London’s more touristy areas,
try to visit places outside of London like Cambridge or Bath
