Company culture: EF Cape Town has a vibrant and informal atmosphere. All employees are very passionate and do their utmost to deliver a high quality product. The School Director is in charge of the school and she does a very good job holding everything together.

The international and professional vibe in the school is very interesting and fantastic to develop your skills in.

Brief description of your daily activities: Activities: planning activities, contact suppliers, promotion, Facebook page management, guiding students, finances
Accommodation: allocation students, making plannings, assist accommodation coordinator
Adminstration: assist administration coordinator, facilities, place orders, system registrations
Reception cover: answering the phone, assist students, communication with suppliers and guests
Residence advisor: responsible for students in the residence, plannings, organize activities, check students in, contact person for students, contact with suppliers, finances

Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: The school director is my supervisor and is always available for any help. She helps with my assignments and is concerned about my personal life in Cape Town as well.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Be safe and keep an eye on your belongings, don’t walk alone after dark.

Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Too much to mention! Cape Town really has everything. Go for adventure with safari’s, hiking, outdoor sports and bungee jumping.

Cape Town’s nature is beautiful and great for hiking and exploring.

The nightlife is great and there are plenty of nightclubs, bars and restaurants.

I can assure you you’ll have an awesome time in South Africa and EF is a great company to work for!
