In which department(s) are you working? Operations which means i was doing all kinds of things.
Brief description of your daily activities: Calling / mailing the suppliers (restaurants, hotels, guides)

Design custom made tours
Accompany your clients on their trip and be a real tour leader

Brief description of your company assignment: I made a marketing plan for one of the products of Alegría Tours.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: At the office I was sitting upstairs with Marc, Fiona was sitting downstairs.

Communication is very important. They really want to learn you as much as they can, but you need to show effort. When you are motivated you can get more different tasks and learn even more.

When you get an assignment show interest and try to figure it out by yourself before you ask questions. Of course you can always ask them but working on it independently will be appreciated.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: If you don’t want to work a lot at the office, you are not interested in Alegria Tours.

If you want to learn a lot about tours from A to Z, you should really apply here.

You can learn many things here but remember it´s an office job and sometimes you will be sitting here alone.. I was very lucky by assisiting a few tours as a tour leader which was really fun!

Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: It´s a really nice city especially the old town! There are a lot of nice restaurants and good places to go out.

And you can visit Barcelona easily by train or bus!
