Organization’s activities: IES Consulting is a Human Resource outsourcing and consulting agency, located in the heart of Barcelona, existing since 6 years, with a continuous growth from year to year.
The company is running recruiting and selection processes for European students and act as an intermediary between companies, students and educational institutions all over the world. IES Consulting also acts as a partner of hotels, touristic institutions and businesses oriented companies, which are interested in cooperating with international students. Furthermore, the company arranges and organizes tourism trips and Erasmus plus group travels in France and Spain, with the aim of soon being able to organize these trips also in Germany and England.

The selection department is to sort out the students and allocate them to the write internship offer. By conversations with students, we elaborate a profile of the student and can then assign him or her a suitable internship.
Once the student passes the first interview and accepts the terms and conditions and agrees with the possibilities proposed, the process can continue with a second interview hold by the commercial department. The commercial department is responsible for the contact with the companies and obtains the vacancies directly from them. Once the student has passed the selection and would like to continue the process, the selection responsible will arrange a second interview with the commercial department. During the second interview, the student will be more informed about the internship and about the company, since the coordinator standing in contact with the company will have all the information concerning the internship and the organisation of the company.
Once the student has passed both interviews, agrees with the internship offer and accepts our terms and conditions, IES presents the student to the company by writing a recommendation of the student, the availabilities and the position in order to arrange a third interview. The last interview takes place between the company itself and the student.
The last decision is hold by the company, in case that the answer is positive we create a certificate for the student as a proof of having obtained your internship also IES helps the student to fill out his or her internship agreement and helps the student to organise his documentations needed before coming on placement.
IES consulting has a service price for students depending on the duration of the internship. In case the student is not accepted from the company, the student does not have to pay any service fees for IES Consulting, only when successfully mediated.

Brief description of your company assignment: The chosen company assignment will be to make recommendations to improve the business model of IES Consulting, to adapt to changing market environments and to appear to a broader audience as well as to stay competitive
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: I have my tutor who helps me when ever I would need help, also all other members of the company help me and explain me things in case I am lost
Nevertheless they give me responsibility and I have a free hand and can introduce my own ideas
