Events department

Brief description of your daily activities: Administrative tasks (updating lists, telephone queries, writing cheques, social media updates), assisting colleagues with preparing proposals and cost estimates for clients and sometimes I could help with the executing of events/ conferences (on site participation)
Brief description of your company assignment: Making a competitors analysis.

Other information

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: start looking for an accommodation as soon as possible. The buses in Malta are not reliable, so look for an accommodation near the office.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: In St Julian’s you will find most of the bars and restaurants, but there is a lot more to discover. Visit the other islands Gozo and Comino , other cities as Valletta and Mdina, beaches, and many more
