– Contacting suppliers via mail & phone
– Making presentations regarding the social program/hotel options/company presentations.
– Working with Excel to create pricelists.
– Attending BUY MICE events for inspiration with Tiziana.
– Attending product launches and hotel openings.
– Finding new contact persons, agencies abroad
Brief description of your company assignment: Development of Milan as a tourism destination
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: I am together with Tiziana (managing director) in the office and we keep in contact with the colleagues in Rome via Skype and the phone. The company is small, so everyone is updated with the current projects.

I didn’t prepare for culture. The Netherlands and Italy are quite similar, however Italians can sometimes be a bit more chaotic.
