Company culture: The company culture is very informal, there is not a very clear hierarchy. Of course there are people who are responsible for making the choices and are a bit higher on the hierarchy, but this doesn’t show at all!

Online marketing

Brief description of your daily activities: My daily activities consist of: social media posts, making changes on the website, contacting photographers and bloggers who are going to the farm, keeping in contact with farmers and checking if they have changes that need to be made.
Brief description of your company assignment: I am doing an assignment related to the customer journey, I examine this journey and have done a survey among customers and non-customers to see where there are gaps and how these can be used in order to reach the ultimate customer potential.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: The supervision is very good. I work in the office 2 days a week mostly and the other 2 days I work from home. I am getting a lot of freedom in my work and they are always open to answer all the questions I have. Not one question is too much for them, and most times I even get responses from different people in the marketing team which really helps me and gives me a different insight as well. I also like that the culture is as informal as it is, I can just (literally) call out for help when I need something and do not need to walk up to someone’s office and ask politely if they can help me out.

Additional company requirements for this placement? MS Office, HTML and SEO were a plus for me. Photoshop will be too i think, but they’re not requirements.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Go into this internship open minded and eager to learn. You really will learn a lot!
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Close to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Hilversum.
