Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Take a language course, it’s a great way to meet people and to be busy in the evenings. Also explore Florence, it’s a beautiful and safe city. By bus you can easily reach places like Siena and Arezzo.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Lots of bars to go out, museum, markets, nice shops, history, good food, Florence has it all
