Organization’s activities: Haman Scandinavia is an incoming tour operator that offers tours for groups as well as individuals to foreign tour operators. They focus on specific parts of the world and therefore are specialists of these regions. They don’t sell direct to the end customer, which means they only have contact with suppliers and tour operators/travel agencies.
Target group of the organization: Tour operators
Company culture: Haman Scandinavia is part of the Haman Group, which is a name that represents all the companies that are part of it. Haman Group exists out of Haman Scandinavia, Terra Nova Scandinavia, Scandinavian Incentives and Authentic Scandinavia and is functional in five different countries.

At the office I work you can find 4 different departments. The purchasing department, group department, finance department and the Scandinavian Incentives department.

The people working here are really friendly and helpful. I enjoy working with them, both informal and formal behavior is accepted but we (the purchasing department) behave in an informal way.

Brief description of your daily activities: Processing data in the database such as: hotel prices, entrance ticket prices, changing allotment at certain hotels, creating new suppliers.

Requesting prices from suppliers.

Finding new suppliers and contacting them.

Brief description of your company assignment: Researching and categorizing problems and complaints in from the past 2 years and give recommendations about how to avoid them.
