Organization’s activities: NBTC is responsible for branding and marketing the Netherlands nationally and internationally. The headquarter of NBTC is located at Den Haag but they have international locations based in Europe, North America, Asia and South America (Brazil).
The activities of the organization based in Paris are the branding and marketing of the Netherlands within the French target group.

Company culture: The company’s culture at the French location in Paris is very informal. I work with 2 other colleagues. They are very nice, helpful, and kind. They gave me a lot of responsibility during the internship, which I greatly appreciate.

Information about your placement
In which department(s) are you working? I am working in the department Marketing and PR (Public Relations)
Brief description of your daily activities: My daily activities are very extensive. I organize press trips to Holland, organize press conference in Paris. Collect relevant information for the press newsletter. Create programs for journalists. I have been on a press trip to Amsterdam, to accompany the French journalists. I attended a press conference twice.
Those are the big activities I have done, during my internship. There are also a lot of extensive smaller daily activities.
Brief description of your company assignment: The company assignment is about analyzing the region Utrecht, analyzing the awareness of the region Utrecht in France and the development of a concept from Utrecht, to attract the French target group.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: My opinion is that the organization is very strong in her marketing and branding of the Netherlands. They work very open-minded and have a very good relationship with all the locations international and partners.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: What to do: start on time with finding an accommodation, because it is very hard.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: There are a lot of museums, a lot of events. Paris is a very big city, there is always a leisure possibility.
