Company culture: Their not a constant hierarchy, but the manager is always the manager. The contact with the manager is more formal than with your colleagues.
There is also time for fun and laughing, but especially with larger events is the hierarchy clearly present.

In which department(s) are you working? Management and administration, frontoffice and gastronomy
Brief description of your daily activities: Controlling the daily finances and programming the cash register, translating, check-in and check-out of the guests and other small activities which the manager gives.
Helping out in the gastronomy when there isn’t enough staff.
Brief description of your company assignment: Increasing the Spend Per Sleeper by analysing the behaviour of the guests and implementing new techniques.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: There is a weekly meeting with the manager in which you can ask your questions and present your work. In this meeting you also recieve feedback and your new tasks.
You can choose to work in the office or at home in an other office. It also depends on the tasks you have and where you are needed.

I did not. Germany is not that different from the Netherlands. Just the language is different, so you can prepare for that when you want to.

Other information
Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: To do:
– Arrange your own car. It is not always possible to take the company car and thereby you can only take it for short trips to the supermarket. The park is located quite remotely from other transport facilities and those facilities are quite expensive.
Not to do:
– Expecting a nine to five job. It is a young and developing park in which there is always work to do.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Large cities as Köln, Düsseldorf and Düren.
