Information about your placement

In which department(s) are you working? I am actually working in all the departments of the company. Absolute Groups & Incentives is a very small company with just 4 employees, so you will learn a lot about all the departments.
Brief description of your daily activities: Making offers for the clients and preparing their trips.

Think about: answering mails and phone calls, making bus schedules, making costsheets and powerpoints
Brief description of your company assignment: Absolute Groups & Incentives is a DMC which is specialised in Ibiza and Mallorca. Until now we are just located at Mallorca. So I will promote Absolute as a DMC for Ibiza. Besides that I will indicate the differences between Mallorca and Ibiza by doing research between the differences and making a brochure. Then we can show the client in just one view what the advantages of both destinations are.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: The supervision by the organization is really great. I can not only ask my own supervisor for help, but also the other employees because it´s such a small company.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Visit Palma, Valldemossa, Sóller, Tramuntana mountains and the beautiful beaches in the South.

Aqualand (in the low season!)
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Especially in the high season there is a lot to do at Mallorca. El Arenal is for example very touristic, but in Palma you will see also more local people. Aqualand, Palma Aquarium and shopping centre Porto Pi are for example very close to your placement.
