In which department(s) are you working? Marketing department
Brief description of your daily activities: Work on the social media communication, contact suppliers, search for contact information of competitors, prepare photos and information for the website of ‘Inspiration of Zimbabwe’ (member of the Gondwana DMC’S network)
Brief description of your company assignment: Make a competitors analysis and also make a plan for the marketing activities of ‘Inspiration of Zimbabwe’
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: My supervisor travels often so we stay in touch through skype and e-mails, nevertheless he tells me in advance what should I do for a certain period of time, so I know on what to focus mainly.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: You could search for a room before you arrive in Brussels, in order to have something secured. You do not have to buy a Belgian SIM card, using a Dutch card will not be more expensive.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: There are a lot of museums and cultural sites in the city as well as parks and shopping centres.
