Other information

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Be sure you can speak basic Spanish; the most of the Spanish people are really bad in speaking English.

Find a good area to live, I lived in the city center and really had a great time there. Before you start your internship contact Roberto and ask him witch are the good areas to live in.

Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Madrid is an amazing city, there are a lot of things to see and party´s every night. Make sure you visit kaptil and joy and also go to the Fucking Monday party. Also visit la Fabrik, this is a big club where a lot of famous dj´s come.
Of course you have to see a football match as well; Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid is even better.
If you have time visit some place in the near like Toledo or Salamanca. Sometimes it is possible to go with a tour as well to visit Barcelona or Sevilla for example.

Next to the office there is the EF language school make sure you meet a lot of the students. The EF school also organizes a lot of activities on which you can go as well. These activities are very divers from pub crawls and barbeques to trip to Pamplona and Sevilla.
