Organization’s activities: Landal Resort Eifeler Tor offers luxurious apartments and villas in the middle of the Eifel National Park. The Heimbacher Brauhaus, with its home-brewed beer, and the Italian Restaurant “Casa Ruscella” offer guests the opportunity to have dinner or to have a drink. The resort also offers an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a wellness area, a tourist information point and several shops. The beautiful surroundings also have a lot to offer; jump aboard one of the tour boats on the nearby resevoir or explore the area on a comfortable electric bike. Join one of the many guided wander tours, relax on the beach or rent a boat and explore the resevoir yourself! Picturesque and charming towns, such as Monschau and Heimbach, offer many options for recreation and relaxation. In short, Landal Resort Eifeler Tor offers every opportunity to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings!
With the its conference rooms Landal Resort Eifeler Tor offers meetings in a holiday atmosphere. The fresh air of the Rursee, on which you have a nice view from the park, inspires and relieves stress. After the meeting our Business Bar, with our home-brewed beer, is opened for a drink after the meeting.The rooms can be used for meetings, conferences, presentations, teambuilding and training.

Improving the marketing, promotion and sales of the commercial rooms (conference rooms, restaurants and Business Bar)

Check-in and Check-out of the guests, handling complaints, providing information

Brief description of your company assignment: Business Plan for the Commercial Rooms (Conference rooms, restaurants and Business Bar) to reach a Food & Beverage turnover of € 200.000 in the year 2016. The Business Plan focuses on the Business to Business market for meetings, conferences, presentations, teambuilding, training and other events.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: In the weekly meeting with the manager the proceedings will be discussed. The manager gives feedback on the work delivered, the opportunity is given to ask questions and the new assignments are given by the manager. For questions and help the colleagues are always available. And it is also possible to ask the manager when needed.

To Do:
Arrange a car! The resort is on a remote location, the nearest train station is a 45-minute walk from the park.
Explore the beautiful surroundings and different activities around the resort.
Mind your speed, there are a lot of speedlights in the surroundings, some of them are hidden very carefully.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Canoe tours, Wander & Cycling Tours, Boat trips, Wildparks, Abbeys, Burrows, Museums, picturesque towns such as Monschau, big cities such as Köln, Aachen, Düren, Bonn, Bad Münstereifel.
