Other information
Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: I would recommend to take a language course beforehand if your Spanish is not that good yet. It is not mandatory to have a high level, but it will sure make your time easier! Make Argentinian friends, in that way you will experience the culture the best! Last recommendation: bring cash dollars. Argentina has two different exchange rates. The official one and a ‘blue’ rate for which you can change dollars for a way better rate!
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: There is ALWAYS something going on in Buenos Aires. This city offers endless possibilities to do and explore things. In the beginning it can be a bit overwhelming, but as long as you are with good people around you, you will have the best experience ever.
