Information about your placement
In which department(s) are you working? Different departments varying:
– Finance
– Product
– Sales
– Marketing
– Operations
Brief description of your daily activities: My daily activities were depending on which department I was working for. I had to create a potential business log and keep the adminstration up to date. For finance allocating of Visa costs to bookings was a very important task and product required me to run capacity reports in order to see which tours have too few customers booked on it to be profitable. Other weeks I had different projects to do do which meant other daily activities.
Brief description of your company assignment: For my company assignment I had to create a database of different tour operators in the Netherlands and create a monthly newsletter. Furthermore I had to upkeep the companies website.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: My company supervisor Gary was amazing. He was always there when you needed to ask something and not only about the company or assignments. He took great care of me and made me feel a worthy employee.
