Brief description of your daily activities: Translations, Reception, Brochure checking, Research, Surveys, Loyalty checks, Different administration tasks, Visiting agents
Brief description of your company assignment: A sales and marketing report to let the bookings of backpackers increase.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: My supervisor changed during my internship. Both supervisors are really kind and helpful, but you have to ask for it. Also for tasks, otherwise there is not a lot to do. So keep asking colleagues and your supervisor for tasks and show that you are willing to assist them.

How did you prepare for the country’s culture?
I have already been to Africa twice. So I already knew how is would be. I love this place and there are lots of activities to do, but you can not feel yourself free here. You can not walk outside on your own, because of the crime.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Best Western Cape Suites Hotel is a perfect place to live. Always go outside with somebody.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: There are so many things to do. For example: Hiking, beach, sandboarding, surfing, shopping, partying, wine tastings, fantastic restaurants etc.
