In which department(s) are you working?

I am working in the fit support/ documents department.

Brief description of your daily activities: prepare final documentation and forward to agent/passengers ensuring information is correct and they are actioned and forwarded
Prepare self-drive kits and ensure that they are enough made up
Ensure the documents are send out in a timely manner
Add new itinerary details as new products are developed
Ensure each self-drive package has a checklist made up
Advise executive assistant when more bags and maps are needed
Other duties can be requested when needed
Brief description of your company assignment: indigenous tourism and its suitability to the European market.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: during the internship you get a lot of responsibility

Other information

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: i would use Facebook for finding accommodation as the chances of getting scammed are lower than using specialized websites. i would also recommend using facebook to find new and cool people to hang with( especially the first weeks)
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: there is plenty of places to get some drinks and there are a lot of beaches to hang out on during the Australian summer. free walking tours is also a fun way to learn more about the city and to meet some cool people.
