Other information

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: At the hotel you should really take initiative and ask a lot of questions, this way you will get more tasks.

Try to find an accommodation close to the hotel as the bus transport in Malta is not that great. Buses are always full and more often late as on time. I would recommend St Julians or Swieqi. I found my apartment through a Dutch realtor, which is expensive but very easy.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: There are a lot of things to do in Malta. There are the main touristic sights, as Valletta, Mdina, the Blue Lagoon, Blue Grotto, ect. What I liked the most was visiting the Island Gozo, we rented a Quad here which made it easy to see everything on the island in one day. I also recommend to hire a car in Malta one day. This way you can see some less touristic things that are hard to reach with the public transport.
