Organization’s activities: They have a day Cape Peninsula tour and their main product is the Hop-on Hop-off buses going through the entire country operating in both ways bringing tourists easily from point to point (door-to-door). they have 3 sections. 1. Cape Town to Port Elizabeth, 2. Port Elizabeth to Durban and 3. Durban to Johannesburg.

Company culture: Informal culture and very relaxed atmosphere. Great options to travel with this company.

Brief description of your daily activities: starting up with discussing what you are going to do today and after that, you have to work on it. this can be several things like, creating pictures on Canvas or other programs. deriving information from google adwords and thinking of follow up actions in a weekly plan.
Brief description of your company assignment: Improving and creating content on several social media platforms.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: The supervisor was really nice and when needed she had always time for me.

Would you recommend to have a language course prior to this placement? not necessary as English is one of the main languages, having knowledge of Dutch is great as Afrikaans is very similar

How did you prepare for the country’s culture?
not really, the country especially cape town is quite western compared to the country but as long as you are open for change and different situations as you are used to it will be fine and an interesting learning moment
