I working in the department tours
Brief description of your daily activities: During a day I have a lot of contact with tour directors. I send them emails and having phone calls with them. You will do a lot of paper work and be sure every tourdirector will have all the information they need before the tours starts.
Brief description of your company assignment: I have to do research how clients will be more in contact with the staff of the company. Right now clients only now tour directors.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: The supervision in this organization is really good. They really care about you and they always wanted to help you with anything. But it is also very important that you can work on your own because sometimes your bosses are on tour.

How did you prepare for the country’s culture?
I did not prepare. I have been a lot of times to Spain and my parents live in Spain (3 hours from Madrid). Spanish people are very nice. What I recocnized during my stay is that if you try to speak Spanish they really want to help you.
I live in the city centre and it can be really crowded sometimes. I like to leave the city sometimes during the weekend.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Just live your life as you always do and enjoy every minute because time flies.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Madrid is a big city. Everywhere their are bars and restaurants. During working days you will have lunch in one of the restaurants in the neighbourhood of the office. What I did in the beginning just walking trough the city and try to explore as much as you can.
