I was working on the social media marketing department.
Brief description of your daily activities: My daily activities were, preparing and creating posts for social media, writing blogs, edit pictures, in depth marketing analysis, competitors analysis and
Brief description of your company assignment: I had to make a marketing analysis about Sandy B Beachclub, a competitors analysis and a trend and development analysis.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: The manager Robyn was in the beginning my supervisor but because I didn’t spoke her that much and she was always busy Julia, my colleague I worked with every day became my supervisor. She is very friendly and always want to help you.

Would you recommend to have a language course prior to this placement? No. They all speak fluent English

Some friends of me already went to Cape Town for internship so they gave me some information.
Did the culture of the country influence your performance during the placement in any way? No. Some people say that it’s dangerous to go to South Africa but I never had a bad experience

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Make sure you start early with your visa.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Cape Town has a lot to offer. I recommend to do some research in which part of Cape Town you want to stay.
