Mainly in the reservations department, sometimes also helping the marketing department.

– Answering e-mails
– Making bookings in JRS
– Other daily tasks such as; checking availability, setting up the manifest for all the tours leaving the next day etc.
Brief description of your company assignment: Destination analysis + product idea for Sri Lanka.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: My supervisor at the company was Marilou (Lou), she is dutch and studied at NHTV as well. She is really nice, friendly and always want to help you and learn you more.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: I would definitely recommend doing your internship at Get Lost Travel Group. The people are amazing, you will learn a lot and I enjoyed every single day with them.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Try to travel as much as you can when you are off.
