In which department(s) are you working? I am not working on 1 department but since it is a marketing company you mainly have tasks that contributes to the marketing activities.
Brief description of your daily activities: Preparing for events the company is hosting or attending, helping preparing / execute roadshows, calling agents or partners for information or to invite them, writing text for their monthly e-newsletters and administration tasks that includes invoices, updating databases etc.
Brief description of your company assignment: Making a competitor analysis. Researching who their competitors are, how they market their destination, what their strengths and weaknesses are and how the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority can learn from it.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: Since the team is so small it feels that everyone supervises which gives you the opportunity to learn from everyone.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Apply for this placement if you love the busy city life and if you can afford it, London is not cheap but definitely amazing.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Once you have seen London and did all the tourists things, try to see and visit the cities near London. Cambridge, Oxford, Bath, Bristol and many more cities are worth visiting.
