Organization’s activities: Baoase Luxury Resort is the only 5-star resort on the island. It is a small and luxurious resort with a total of 23 accommodations. Besides the resort, there is a Baoase Culinary Beach Restaurant which is one of the top restaurants on the island.

Marketing and Sales

Brief description of your daily activities:
• Developing concepts for our magazine and website
• Organizing photo- and video shoots in line with the Baoase brand style
• Being responsible for a continuously up-to-date website (news, awards, events etc.)
• Creating awareness among the Baoase Management about the latest trends and developments on brand identity and styling
• Ensuring optimal exposure of our website and magazines
• Contributing to marketing strategies and brainstorming sessions
• Creating brochures and advertisements that ultimately promote our events, and are in line with our brand style
• Developing concepts for Baoase events
• Developing marketing plans for Baoase events
• Organizing site inspections and special visits for press or VIPs
• Setting up Public Relations campaigns
• Approaching media to optimally expose our brand
• Working closely with Front Office, Guest Relations, Housekeeping and Restaurant and communicating all pertinent information in a timely manner
• Attending scheduled meetings as required with internal & external contacts
• Fostering and maintaining strong, positive relationships with team members across all departments through communication and regular face-to-face interaction
• Performing other reasonable duties as assigned by manager

Brief description of your company assignment: Researching which new target market Baoase needs to focus on in 2020. Based on my research I need to present my recommendation to the Marketing Manager.

Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: I have really good contact with my colleagues. I learn a lot from my supervisor and everybody is always willing to help.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Rent a car! it is not safe to walk in the evening/night.
Begin with requesting the Verklaring van Rechtswege early because it takes a lot of time to gather all the correct documents.
Go to Westpunt in the weekends and enjoy the most beautiful beaches of the planet.
