In which department(s) are you working?

sales

Brief description of your daily activities: learning everything about the Philippines (+Resorts/Hotels) to be able to better consult the client, learning everything about the sales process, contacting clients via E-Mail and call, tour designing and working with the booking department

Brief description of your company assignment: group tours: new introduced, whereas I was looking for solutions for specific encounters and problems. How to regulate them and promote them?

Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: My supervisor was always around, working with me in the same room. She helped me a lot when I had questions and guided me through everything.

How did you prepare for the country’s culture?
It’s my also own culture. (I am half German and half Filipina) I have been there almost 20x already.
Did the culture of the country influence your performance during the placement in any way? yes, they are not always direct and do not say what is on their mind.

Other information

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: The aircon can be cold sometimes, better wear long cloths.
Travel, they have some beautiful places around.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: get a massage for only 3,50€ per hour, go to the gym, party, travel and shopping
