In which department(s) are you working?
Marketing department

Brief description of your daily activities: Taking care of design of blogs, asking permission to use content provided by travelers on Instagram, Classify different content types in databases, work on new projects like launches of new platform like Affiliate or Marketplace (helping out with the design or website structure, create a waitlist or action item lists, write e-mail templates)
Be present in meetings and show progress in each of the meetings.

Brief description of your company assignment: Collecting quantitative and qualitative data of user generating content.

Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: I have a company supervisor, but I work closer with one of my colleague who gives m tasks and shows me how different in-house or other platforms work.
I have clear tasks and can schedule them however I want to depend on their priorities.

Travelling expenses (e.g. return ticket): € 1600€

Local transport (monthly): € tram/bus but it depends on how many activities you plan on doing
General costs of living (monthly): € with rent around 1100€ but could be more only I did not spend too much money as there was not much to do during the COVID period

What did the company pay for/to you? I was allowed to benefit from the traveler’s inclusions (meaning I was able to participate in activities that were included in the Australian trips we offered)

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Australia is pretty western and society carries the same values as on The Netherlands
Tip: Respect their beautiful nature and animal world and I am sure you will discover the most amazing sights of this country
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Anything – Gym, Indoor Skydiving, Skydiving, Boat, Ferry, Paddleboard, Surfing, Swimming, Drive-In movie theater, Hiking, walking trails etc
