Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: During my internship, I did have a hard time with my internship supervisor in terms of communication. I had the feeling several times that he heard me, but did not understand.
Sometimes appointments were made, or he said he understood me, but a day later or an hour later it was already completely different. At some point I resigned myself to the fact that it wasn’t the perfect match, and after that things were fine.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: I may have had too high expectations for the internship and hoped to organize the biggest things right away. If you go into this internship with a blank feeling then it can really be a fun internship. Because I started with some setbacks, it never became the internship I expected it to be. However, it is a unique experience to live and work in a metropolis like Budapest.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Budapest offers many opportunities to have fun, the nightlife is one of them. But the architecture is what you can really fall in love with.
The Gellert Hill is a possibility for a nice hike, with a view over the whole city. The Basillica is breathtaking and for a small price you can go inside & all the way up. Again, you have a view of the entire city.
A tour of the Danube River is also recommended.
