Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Enjoy your time!
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Rome is a beautiful city in which you can do many things. Besides the common highlights, you should visit the neighbourhoud of Trastevere, which has plenty of bars and restaurants and is lovely to walk through. Don’t go to the first best restaurant on the main street but look for something in the side streets, these are usually much better and more authentic. Search for cheap train/airplane tickets to visit different cities, as I went to Sicily.
