Brief description of your daily activities: Sending new bookings and cancellations to hotels.
Requesting hotel for invoices and putting them in the accounting system.
Put new stop sales or open sales from hotel in the reservations system.
Help Accounts department with administrative tasks.
Brief description of your company assignment: Ways to improve revenue stream and recover from COVID19
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: You will observe in the 1st week and then perform tasks under supervision the 1st few times. You will be taught in steps to get adjusted before working independently. Asking questions is always encouraged.

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Do not be afraid to ask if you are not sure or come across unknown things when working. They prefer asking questions than mistakes. Communication is important.
Order a Tallinja personal buscard about 2 weeks beforehand and get it delivered to the address of W2M Malta, because the addresses are tricky in Malta.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: You can definitely explore Malta fully during the placement in the weekends. The north of Malta has beautiful beaches and in the south hiking is nice to see the cliffs and nature. The festivals are also a lot of fun.
