Organization’s activities: Rent apartments in different cities to people all over the world.
Target group of the organization: Families, couples, friends, almost everyone
Company culture: The ambience between the colleagues was very good and relaxed. Some of them are my friends right now. I did get quite a lot of responsibility. I was the only one from the HBO, the other students were from the MBO, so I had to take the lead in some cases.
Number of employees: 4 – 5 students for their internship as well

In which department(s) are you working? Product management, Channel management, Bookings
Brief description of your daily activities: I had to response enquiries through mail, checked bookings in our system, checked the channels (calendars, prices, descriptions) and did some product management.
Brief description of your company assignment: I had to expand the company.
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: The communication was especially via Skype. You can always ask somebody if you have a question. Sometimes I had a quick conversation with Ralph about some work that I had to do.

How did you prepare for the country’s culture?
I did not.
Did the culture of the country influence your performance during the placement in any way? I don’t think so, because Ralph is Dutch and all the other students were also Dutch. I only had to talk English, and sometimes Spanish, at the phone, via mail and that kind of things.
