In which department(s) are you working? Marketing Europe department
Brief description of your daily activities: Communication with travel agent via mail, keeping track of availabilities of hotels and stop sales when no rooms are available anymore, updating powerpoint presentations, work for Starclub ( B2B sales promotion marketing tool Iberostar uses to boost sales)
Brief description of your company assignment: For my company assignment I analyse the effectiveness of workshops which are given to tour operators worldwide and eventually calculate and analyze the return on investment
Comment briefly on your supervision by the organization: Supervision is very good, my supervisor has been very welcoming from the start and supports you during the entire internship.

How did you arrange your accommodation? Via Dorothea Bertram (dorothea.bertram55@gmail.com), I received this email address from my supervisor before I went to Mallorca and I had an awesome room in the heart of the city centre. Very big and with own bathroom, shared this flat with 4 other Erasmus students

How did you arrange the necessary documents: There weren’t a lot of documents that I needed to arrange, only things like for example compensation for the OV card, this needed to be done about 2 months before leaving the NL.

Other information

Recommendations on what to do and what not to do: Dress-code is formal but you are not allowed to wear jeans, only on Fridays.
Leisure possibilities in the city/surroundings of where the placement took place: Palma is great, it is a lively city and since I lived in the city centre I was able to enjoy this. The nightlife is also awesome and whenever you miss Dutch people (or Germans) just go to Arenal and you will find a lot of them!
